We are looking for a full-time Electrical Engineering Community Manager for one of the world’s leading technology brands. The successful candidate will be focusing on building, growing, and maintaining an online community for hardware developers and engineers. You will need a passion for technology hardware, communication, and sharing information and ideas. This role is an opportunity to get hands-on with innovative technologies to promote their features and benefits to the target demographic. Using your knowledge of electrical engineering and the brand’s products, you will develop unique content experiences for the community. Using information generated within the community, you will contribute to a knowledge base and offer insights/assistance to the community for their own projects. Our Electrical Engineering Community Manager will also be expected to inspire, oversee and motivate the forum of contributors from a technical perspective.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop initiatives that motivate users and content creators to use the forum
  • Participate directly in the forum by enriching the quality of the discussions and content
  • Promote new technologies and solutions
  • Build and promote sample applications
  • Develop and contribute to a knowledge base
  • Create content to highlight features, benefits, and technical specifications of leading technology hardware
  • Provide technical project support to community members
  • Collaborate with marketing and product engineers

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of related experience
  • Experience as a technical community manager or key contributor
  • Hands-on experience with technology hardware and lab equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to describe and promote innovate technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Legally qualified applicants to work in the European Union will have priority for immediate start
